1988 – Graduated at The State Ballet School ‘Lujo Davico’, Belgrade. At the age of 16 already performing solo parts in the repertory of The National Theatre Ballet, Belgrade.

CAREER

 

 

2012 – Premiere of the ballet Sonets, choreography by Leo Mujic.

 

October, 2011- Established her own Dance School – ‘Skola igre Ashen Ataljanc’- (www.skolaigre.com)

 

2011 – Premiere of the ballet ‘If everyone could hush down a bit’, choreography by Snjezana Abramovic and the Bitef Dance Company, at the Atelje 212 Theatre.

2011 – Premiere of the ballet ‘The Divine Comedy’, choreography by Edward Clug with the Bitef Dance Company, in the Bitef Theatre, Belgrade.

2008 – ‘La forma dell’incompiuto’, choreography by Sussana Beltrami with Giorgio Albertazzi and Luciana Savignano.

2007- 2nd International Mediterranean Theatre Festival “Purgatories” winning the Price for the interpretation of the principle role in the ballet “La Capinera”.

2007 – In the theatre “Pozoriste na Terazijama”, Belgrade, with performance “La Capinera” in the choreography of Michele Merola – celebration of twenty years of the professional career. On this performance she also worked as an assistant to the choreographer.

2007- Becoming a freelance and starting career as a ballet teacher and a ballet mistress.

2007 – beginning collaboration with choreographer and director of the ballet academy “Academia danza” in Milan – Susanna Beltrami – as a dancer and a teacher.

2006 – the price of The ‘Braca Karic Foundation’ for Career Achievements.

2006 -Exclusive feature for the Imperial 2005 catalogue, as well for Marella in 2006.

2003- Gala concerts in Bodrum, Turkey and the International Gala concert

‘Winter Night Dreams’ in Belgrade , Serbia.

 

2000 – Joining the renowed company – Aterballetto – Reggio Emilia, Italy. Performing numerous choreographies of Mauro Bigonzetti: Midnight Summer Dream, Comoedia Canti, Petroushka, Cantata 1&2, Canzoni, Les Noces, Cazimir`s Colours, Jimi Jimi, Furia Corporis, Vespro, Sarada,Who get’s this one,  Rossini Cards, Romeo and Juliet, Pression, WAM, Chameleon(by Itzik Gallili) and choreographers Fabrizio Monteverde and Valter Matteini.

With Aterballetto taking part in numerous tours: France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia, Switzerland, Austria, Lithuania, Russia, USA, Brazil, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Mexico, China, New Zeeland and Spain, Norway, England.

1996 – Soloist in the Ballet of the Staatsoper in Berlin, performing  the choreographies of Rudolf Noureev, Patrice Bart, Peter Martins, Pierre Lacotte, Fokin:Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty,Verdiana, Les Sylphides, Fearful Symmetries, Lac des Fèe.

1994 – Festival Ballet of Alicia Alonso, Cuba.

1993 – International festival, Tashkent, Uzbekistan – as a guest in the main roles in Swan Lake and Giselle.

1992 – 1993 – Guest artist in The Israel Ballet, Tel Aviv (Symphony in C, Serenade, Balanchine).

1991 – 1993 – Guest artist in The National Theatre of Novi Sad in the ballets

La Fille Mal Gardee (I. Otrin), Carmen (V. Logunov).

1992 – The International Theatre Festival in Belgrade – BITEF created full-length ballet, especially for her. ‘Isadora Duncan’, choreography – J. Santic.

1992 – Special annual prize DRAGON, the woman of the year, for the most prominent achievements in Belgrade.

1992 – ‘The October Price of the City of Belgrade’ for the Best achievement in the domain of musical and performing arts for the role Kitri in Don Quixote.

1991 – The award of the City Fund for Culture,Belgrade for the role of Kitri in Don Quixote.

1991/92 – Annual Price of The National Theatre, Belgrade – Season 1991/92 for the role Kitri in Don Quixote.

1991 – Nominated Principal Dancer of the National Theatre, Belgrade, performing principal roles in the ballets: Swan Lake (Petipa, D.Parlic), Bayadere(Petipa), Giselle (Petipa, Lavrovsky), Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty (Petipa,V.Logunov), Carmen (V. Logunov), Resurrection, Samson and Delilah, Lady with Camellias, Images (L.Pilipenco), Winter Dreams (D.Gray).

1991- First Prize in World Ballet Couples Competition in Osaka, Japan.

1990-Jubilee award regarding 120 anniversary of The National Theatre, Belgrade for the roles of Odile and Odette in Swan Lake.

1988 – Upon graduation becoming the youngest soloist of The National Theatre Ballet Ensemble, Belgrade.

In previous years, she also redirected interest and improved herself in the fields of personal development and upgrading her potential through progressive strategies of NLP. Since 2018, she is Usui Reiki Master.
